Convene software
Convene™
is "client" software that works with Ecunet if you are in a
remote location and do not have Internet access. Its current
incarnation works best with a dialup connection over traditional
telephone lines. It makes a long distance connection reasonable
because it limits connect time
Convene has produced software for DOS,
Windows, and Macintosh (which is no longer available) platforms. At
present only the DOS and Windows software is available for downloading.
Note: Please see "Using
Convene software after January 13, 2003."

EcuComm
is an add-on product for the DOS version of Convene. It has been
produced independently of Convene by Ecunet, Inc. If you use Convene for
DOS under Windows (yes, the DOS version works fine there) EcuComm uses
your "winsock" to connect to the host, so you don't need to
make a long-distance modem call. EcuComm only works with Convene for
DOS,
and only to connect to the Ecunet host.
