Can I use e-mail software to send/receive mail?

Sure!  Ecunet mail (powered by Gmail) supports POP and IMAP protocols for sending/receiving e-mail, so you just need to configure your software for your Ecunet account.  This is convenient for checking all your mail accounts in one place. Before you proceed to do that however, you may want to check out the Web-based Gmail interface.  It has many powerful features, and the Contacts directory already contains addresses for all Ecunet domain members. It is also nicely integrated with Google chat, phone and tasks applications.  That Webmail interface is accessible to you anywhere you have access to a computer or mobile device and an Internet connection.  It also lets you check your other e-mail accounts through the same interface.

If you still prefer to use e-mail software like LiveMail, Thunderbird, Outlook, etc., here are the instructions for how to set that up.
