This is the main public meeting to announce discussion groups on a variety of
subjects.  If you'd like to create a new discussion group and invite just about
everyone on the system to join it, use "PUBLIC."  Instead of sending out
thousands of invitations to all the users on the conferencing system, you can
reach most users on the system with one invitation here!"PUBLIC" is a
branch-only meeting.  BRANCH ONLY means users can send new meetings invitations
*only* to "PUBLIC."  (When you create a new discussion group, you'll be offered
the option to branch the discussion from "PUBLIC.")  You can't participate in a
discussion in "PUBLIC."
